A note on this template. This page is a clear, good-faith starting point written in plain language. It is not legal advice. Before you publish, have it reviewed by a qualified attorney to make sure it fits TeamBeam's actual data practices and the laws that apply to you.

Overview

TeamBeam Outings USA ("TeamBeam," "we," "us") helps organizations design, deliver, and measure team experiences. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need, and to be plain about how we use it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details when you enquire, apply, or partner with us (name, email, phone, company, role).
  • Details about your team and goals that you choose to share so we can scope an experience.
  • Application materials if you apply for a job or partnership.

Information from running an experience

  • Logistics needed to deliver an event (attendee counts, dietary and accessibility needs, travel details).
  • Team-level diagnostic responses used to produce a BeamScore (see below).

Information collected automatically

  • Basic usage data from our website and apps (device, browser, pages viewed) to keep things working and improve them.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and provide the experiences you ask for.
  • To design, deliver, and measure team experiences.
  • To improve our services and website.
  • To send you information you've asked for, and occasional updates you can opt out of at any time.
  • To meet legal and contractual obligations.

Team measurement & BeamScore

We measure teams, not individuals. BeamScore diagnostics are designed to be collected with consent and reported at the team or group level. We do not use them to monitor, rank, or evaluate any single person, and we don't return individual responses to your employer.

Where diagnostics are run, we tell participants what's being collected and why, aggregate the results, and share group-level insight with the client. You can ask us about the specifics for your engagement at any time.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers and partners who help us deliver an experience (e.g., venues, facilitators, travel and event vendors), limited to what they need.
  • Professional advisors and authorities where required by law.
  • A successor in the event of a merger or acquisition, under the same commitments.

Cookies & analytics

Our website uses essential cookies to function and limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Embedded content (such as maps) may set its own cookies governed by the provider's policy.

Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your information, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we'll respond within the timeframe the law requires.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard what you share with us.

Children

Our services are for organizations and their staff. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a revised "last updated" date.
